There was a boy who started sexting things to this girl I know of. The girl didn't really know what to do about it and being a young teen just tried to play along but was too embarrassed to say anything to her parents about it. Eventually, the parents found it on her phone and reported it to school. They could have pressed charges against the boy and I don't know if they did. The point is that reputations can get destroyed within milliseconds. He could have made screenshots and posted them on social media of what was said. Like they say, "the internet is forever" And getting kids to understand just exactly what this means and how serious it is; is perhaps the greatest challenge.
