Currently, I have been using Instagram with my students. I have my own Instagram account for my classroom and students. I post pictures and videos of students and activities. Parents love it and it is quicker for parents/students than Facebook. I have also done some assignments using Instagram. My bulletin board in my room is titled: 6th Graders are Instagreat! and I have many pictures on students. They love to see if they have "made" the board for the month. Here are some other accounts that I found and have used: @2peasandadog I use article of the week and this has some good resources. She also has a Twitter account and works closely with another teacher @theliterarymaven. @classroompinspirations Creative ideas from Pinterest, and @madlylearning, a good account for inquiry. This is especially good since my school is an IB school. Good ideas.
