It was good to see the posts here on the board with some ideas, because although I had seen Instagram before, I have to admit that I hadn't used it much. I kind of pictured it as just a place to take pictures and put a filter on them to make them look nice and share them with people, but I didn't realize that you could join groups to make it more educational (my age is showing).
Here's a few groups that I found to be interesting that may be helpful in my work as a special education teacher - hopefully they can get you started as well - if you're new to using the site this way like I am (please forgive me if I'm not doing this right):

There were also groups connected to special education classes, so that was nice to see - a practical use of this technology in the classroom (although some classes didn't seem to use it very effectively or gave up on it - one class only had about 9 pictures, and I have no idea what they were aiming for).
It would be worth exploring this further in the future.
