Internet Safety-Social Media

NAlgreen
I explored Facebook.  The one setting that really bothers me is the location setting.  I don't like the idea that Facebook can let everyone know where you are at.  While I was exploring, I noticed that under that category there was also location history.  It says it allows Facebook to build a history of precise locations received through location services on your device.  I just keep thinking how this could be an extremely dangerous thing.  If your child wants to get an account and you haven't looked into all of this, your child could be letting predators know exactly where they are.  I know that Snapchat has a map as well that is pretty specific as to where you are.  As hard as it is to keep up with everything our children do online, I feel it is very important to keep up on their settings so that we can keep them safe.
