I have various social media accounts...Facebook (personal and small business), Instagram, Twitter (both my personal and my classroom accounts) and I use them daily. I have taken various safety precautions and am very careful with each account. I have rules for friending students (not until they graduate, even then or have "friended" me) I am followed on Instagram by a lot of students and I make it a point to only post positive photos, photos of my artwork or classroom. You can do lots of cool things and reach a lot of kids this way, but you have to be very careful and think.
