I only have a twitter account. I share it with my husband and his name is first on the account. So when people search Cindy Redler our account will not come up unless you type Alan's name first. So our acct is not that easily accessible (as I know more people with working with students/parents at 2 different schools and being part of a family business, plus, Alan's name can be spelled in 3 different ways) so we do not have a lock on our acct. I feel this has not been problematic for us as of yet, but I know we can always lock our acct if need be. You can always block someone from viewing/commenting on your acct as well.
