I looked at my Facebook account. Before I ever signed up for Facebook, I wanted to make sure that there were settings in place to keep as much information private as possible. So, I have all of my information set to be shared with Friends only. I also want to review some that I am tagged in before it is seen on my wall. So, someone could not post information or a picture without me verifying it first. I also noticed how many settings there were. There was everything from who you want seeing the information to who can contact you and what you can do if you someone is bothering you (blocking them). I believe you can make your social media site as private as you would like (with the understanding nothing is 100% private :))
