Internet Safety

Internet safety is important for all users young and old. There are a lot of opportunities that the internet provides, but what is scary is we have to be careful how we use it and what we are doing on the internet.  For some activities we do on the internet we can set protections for ourselves such as for privacy and security.  Facebook is an example and another example is chat rooms.  There are evil people out there trying to use the internet for bad things like meeting young girls or pornography.  There are also people trying to get our personal information and steal things like our identity.  We have to be sure we know what we are doing and that we take the time to use the internet safely.  We should check privacy settings and set safe passwords.  We should also know who we are allowing as friends online and watch what we are doing.
