Internet Safety

Daimien
I have had many conversations about this very issue.  My son is in college and we have talked about going on his social media sights and updating his preferences.  He never seemed very concerned about it when he was younger, maybe because we would check his accounts a lot.  But, he has heard stories while at college and has become much more aware of not only what he posts, but what others post.  I idea that someone can find out so much about you with what you think are innocent pictures or post.  I also have 2 young girls, who are active on the internet. Again, I have to monitor what they are doing and who they are communicating with it amazes me how many kids who are very young have some much access to adult things online.  Snapchat, Facebook, and Twitter are only the tip of the iceberg.  I was watching my daughter play Club Penguin once and I came to the reality that some of these young kid games are really Facebook training games. The opportunity to communicate is with others is enormous and dangerous and starts as a young age.
