Internet Safety

Jeff
This is an interesting discussion because we are happily oblivious to what we share on the internet.  We can focus our settings with various applications or networking sites like Facebook; however, we often forget that we are sharing information about ourselves simply by using browsers.  These browsers observe what we search for online, our browsing history and favorites.  They use this information to focus advertisements, pop-ups, and banners to sell us products that the browser feels will be preferred by us.  We must recognize that our own digital habits will be used against us.  This can be seen beneficial but it can also be a privacy concern.
