I have a facebook account but make sure that nothing is posted that I wouldn't want anyone to see. I also never friend a student, I believe this is just asking for trouble. I try to communicate with my students that they need to be selective as well as to who they friend and what they post. It is so alarming to me that kids and sometimes adults don't filter what they post on line.
