I have no social media identities. In discussion with those participating in social networking it would be beneficial for me to ask questions regarding safeguards they have personally incorporated. Asking for advice in establishing an identity including appropriate privacy protection could lead nicely to an open conversation. One may be open to expressing the steps they have taken. By asking what they have done to protect their privacy it would become apparent how important they believe it is to do so.
