I checked the privacy setting on my Facebook account. I went through and changed some of the settings so that to it is not open to everyone. I also selected the option approve posts and pictures before they go on my profile. I wasn't aware of these settings and neither was my husband. We went through and changed the settings to be more private.
It would be good for our students and parents to be aware of these settings so they can be more careful. I think it would also cut down on the cyber bullying if the people have the choice to approve posts and pictures that show up on your page.
