Recently our son asked if he could install snapchat on his phone, we agreed. We thought we had all the bases covered as parents, we have the password to the account, he can only snap chat with family, and we can see what he posts. We thought this was a safe way to let him interact, however it was brought to our attention that you can not disable the ads from various inappropriate websites like Cosmopolitan! Yikes, lesson learned. even though your privacy settings are accurately controlled you can not always control the content received.
