Internet Safety

I do not use social media. I do not want to see posts of my students in compromising photos or words. I tried to follow the directions of this assignment and did not fully sign in using VINE. The information that I was required to release was too much for comfort and I did not go further.

I can only imagine the items that must be required to expose yourself to a multitude of websites, hackers, and sale or passing on of your account information.

I terminated my look into VINE.

I am not going to give access to my contacts list.

Gary I understand your concern.  Are you a teacher?  As teachers I think we need to understand what our students are doing.  Not so much as what they are doing socially, but what tools are they using and how they operate.  I am of the older generation of teachers and social media scares me, however I think understanding things that scare me makes me less afraid.
