I am on Facebook but have a very limited Friends group of 10-15 people, almost all family. I do feel like I'm confronted by many friends that I don't accept their friend requests but I just don't want to be so intertwined in what I see as people's personal lives. I don't want to scroll through some co-workers pictures of her supper plate when I get home and relax. I want to catch up on important things occurring in my family. I rarely post my own things and then it is usually a picture I want to save or a recipe I want to save. I do feel that people put themselves "out there" and become very vulnerable. I don't check my settings but will in the future!
