I checked the privacy settings on Facebook. The first thing I noticed is that it takes a small bit of investigating to find the privacy tab. I'm sure middle school kids could find it, but it is not super easy. If you do not have a strict privacy setting, it would be very easy for someone to get a lot of information about you. Not to mention that there are not a lot of controls. If a friend can view something, then they have access to put it anywhere. That's just another good reminder that anything that gets put on social media, regardless of your privacy settings, can be put out to the general public through someone you know with the click of a button.
