After checking my Facebook privacy settings I made a few tweaks. It would be helpful to discuss the implications of some of these settings. After searching for someone on Facebook recently and having trouble identifying which of the people with the same name was my friend I was frustrated. I have limited my personal use of Facebook because it can be such a distraction with many interesting but useless rabbit trails. Then I remembered that I had a Twitter account. I found that I had more than 50 people I was following that I have no connection with or clue as to how they got there. I'm glad it was easy to unfollow them.
