Internet safety

I use Facebook as a social network. I chech privacy settings to make sure it is set on private.  Only my friends can see my information. I don't except friend request from people I don't know or past and present students. I'm careful and what I do post and the pictures I put on Facebook.

These are all good ideas. I am concerned that I have been too relaxed on how I have approached this in the past. My own children now have this information also, as well as, my spouse.

I fell like I have been too trusting with the media.  I need to look at settings more frequently.  I also feel that my 13 year old is still too young for a FB or instagram account...too many instances that she might regret so why set that up.
