The use of the internet is essential in the learning environment today. However, I take great precautions in making the searches safe for my students. Usually, I will give my students (the younger ones) a specific website for them to go to. I will list the link in Edmodo so that they do not mistakingly type the wrong URL. I also monitor the student's who are on the internet with the DyKnow Cloud program to see exactly what pages the student is on and looking at.
