When using Youtube in class for examples or creating learning activities the video began to have adds that were not originally there and began to show things that may or may not have been appropriate for students, let alone that students don't need to see adds while they're working on assignments for school. Some students voiced annoyance while others got distracted and didn't work as well, caught up in what they saw taking them off topic and focus on the learning at hand. To help ensure that the videos that I share are appropriate and don't have additional adds or etc on them I need to review them before use each day to confirm and/or find another source for what media content I want/need to share.
