Living below our means By Amy Zimmerman

AmyZimmerman
As a future educator, I will incorporate within many of my lessons the value of living below your means. Living below your means is living on less then what you are being paid. It's a great way to learn to save and budget without having to go into debt. Saving for what you can't afford immediately instead of using credit cards.  Starting early is a great start to building wealth.

One lesson might be: Student have to think of something they would like to have right now. Then asking how much money do you have now?  How much money do you need me in order to purchase this item? Can you afford it? How can you earn the money to get what you would like? How long will it take to save the money to get what you would like? Would you still want to buy that or continue to save your money?

As a conclusion to the lesson we can talk about the value and character quality of patience and diligence.
