As a parent of teenagers, I seriously became an Instagram user to keep track of my teens several years ago. I also have a couple friends that are not on Facebook only Instagram. I guess they feel it is safer or maybe easier to use. It is definitely a lot less complex than Facebook or a lot more limiting, depending on how you view it.
I only use Instagram as a private and personal connection to people I already know. I do not follow businesses or blogs or any sort and do not ever intend to. This is my one and only very private outlet to my long time friends without ads or suggestions. I have no intentions, not even for this class, to ever change that.
