Middle & High School Students

Working with middle and high school students I see the importance of financial literacy.
Too many kids today have the desire for immediate gratification.
They were not taught to earn and save for what they want.
Society even teaches -- if you want -- get it.
We need to do a better job of helping our students understand the Financial aspect of life.
Many of these students will be going on to college and going into tremendous debt.
They will need to understand what that means for them in the future.

I agree 100%. Middle school students have got it in their head that moms and dads will just get them everything they want.  Kids today expect monies whenever they put their hands out without doing anything for it.

I'm trying everything in my link power not to make a bad joke about this watch being a "Live Laugh Love" sign for your wrist. And in all truthfulness, it does go a little deeper than the classic woo-woo suburban link millennial mom who rubs crystals link and writes in her gratitude journal. It's quirky, for sure, but it's a sign of the times.
