I, too, am taking this course for my substitute license renewal. Since I don't have a classroom of my own, I haven't spent much time searching for ideas like full time teachers do. However, I tried a search for "Substitute Teacher", and several boards pop up with helpful tips and ideas. You can even find "Emergency Plans" for those days when no lesson plans are left for you.
