I went back and looked at my Facebook profile and decided to delete some items that show up in my profile. I deleted my street address that I had listed and just kept my city location. I don't really see any reason to have my address on my FB profile. I also decided to get rid of some websites that I have created and maintained over the past few years or so. One of the websites is for a band that I play in, but we really don't gig that much anymore (we have only two gigs booked for all of 2016 as of this writing). Less is more I guess. The people that want to get in touch with me on FB can just do so by sending me an instant message. I have used that feature quite a bit in the last few years. Just yesterday, I sent a heartfelt happy birthday message to the mother of an old friend of mine from high school. He died over 25 years ago from cancer, but I wanted to reach out to her and make her feel good on her special day. She was very appreciative that I did so. It made her day.
