Norms & Responsibilities

Having a driver's license is a privilege that comes with responsibilities and also carries consequences for decisions and choices the driver makes while operating a vehicle. Education and guided practice makes for a safer driver, doesn't it? Similarly, the right to access the digital universe is ALSO a privilege that comes with responsibilities and consequences. No sort of "driver's license" is required to operate technology, but if we want our students to get the most out of the digital world SAFELY, we must continually educate ourselves as technology evolves and practice good habits, or "netiquette", and integrity with our students.
