As society moves across the digital frontier, we need to ensure that we're adequately preparing students to navigate themselves successfully along the journey. Not only do students have a responsibility to be mindful of their digital behavior, they also need to be taught how to manage their digital footprints so that their actions, posts, comments, etc. do not harm others or themselves. It's important to teach students that even though they might not be not face-to-face with someone, their words and posts do affect people, either positively or negatively.
