Students need to understand that just because they think something, it doesn't mean they have to post it. One of the hardest concepts for elementary students to understand is that they are making their digital footprint. What they say today will follow them throughout their life. With a digital footprint the proof of what they states is right there, it takes away the he said/she said aspect. Not everyone will agree with a post and there are reactions both positive and negative and there are often consequences.
