I worry about the impulsiveness of people, young people especially, and the digital world. They are quick to jump to conclusions, believing news without fact checking and then spreading the news. People are also quick to respond to information/statement that they wouldn't necessarily say in person. It does create a negative climate and could possibly lead to harassing/bullying behavior.
We have the duty to teach responsibility with technology and the implications of impulsive online actions.
I also worry about the rights and responsibility of privacy and the freely sharing of information without knowing it. Again, by giving youth access to technology, we have the duty to teach about maintaining/protecting privacy and those future implications.
