I believe students should have the right to the use of technology. Even though technology is all around in our daily lives, there are many students who still do not have the same opportunities when it comes to technology. When these students have the limited access to technology, we as educators need to continue to work to provide them additional resources. In addition to providing all students access to technology we also need to teach digital responsibility. I think it is very important to be teaching our students respect with technology and respect towards each other when using technology (i.e. when using social media). In addition to being respectful, I think it is important that digital users are made aware of how to be safe online.
