I feel schools are responsible to teach students about digital citizenship. Students need to understand how to stay safe when online and the consequences of their actions if not using technology safely both at home and at school. We have control of their technology usage at school and can have consequences for not abiding by district policies, but I think the most important thing is that they learn how to use technology in a safe and productive way in all aspects of their lives.
