Norms and Responsibilities by Allison Stoker

A. Stoker
As for norms I feel like everyone should have the right to privacy and also the right to free speech but that goes hand in hand with responsibilities. Yes, you may have the right to say whatever you want to whoever you want but those choices and the words you say still have consequences just like they would in the real world. I think it is really easy for people to forget that there are real people on the other side of their internet connections. It is so much easier to say things when you are not face to face with them or even know who they are.

I agree with Allison about the responsibilities inherent in digital citizenship. I am more concerned about the norms are and who establishes those norms. If X is any example, th norms have gone awry.
