Students and teachers have the right to engage in the digital world at school and in their homes. We are now in the age of learning 24/7, anytime and anywhere. With this wonderful, life-changing right comes heavy responsibility for all involved and particularly for educators. All users must be aware that they have the opportunity to be positive contributors to their learning communities. It is imperative that we provide opportunities for such online collaborative activity and model how to create a good "digital tatoo" with our students. All users, educators, and students should grow in the awareness that the digital world has shifted our roles from that of just consumers to contributors as well. This provides a powerful voice for all. Now we must endeavor to learn with our students to discern what is worth contributing and consuming from the worldwide web.
