I agree with many of the posts that I have read that so many students do not understand that what they put out on the web is not private and does have consequences. They feel that since they are not saying things face to face to someone that "nothing will happen to them."
They need to understand that you are responsible for everything you write, post, etc. on the web can be traced back to you and that if what you put is irresponsible, than you can have consequences.
