Norms and Responsibilities

 Students have to be taught what their rights are while using digital technology and the consequences if they violate those rights. The example the immediately comes to mind is students posting personal information on public platforms like Instagram or Twitter that could put them in danger. It is up to us to help students navigate and understand the responsibilities of digital citizenship.

I hope that "by us", you mean teachers and parents.  We often feel that we take on this responsibility by ourselves, but we need help from parents as many things happen outside of school and the regular school day.  We have to be partners with parents.
