Norms and Responsibilities

I feel that all users should have the right to privacy and that all users should be able to feel safe while doing so. I feel that digital users should understand that they have a digital footprint and what they put out there could have consequences. This is especially important for students to understand. Once you put something out there you can't get it back in most cases.

I completely agree. Students/ young people need to understand this. While working in middle school and upper elementary, I constantly saw my students post and send things that they did not fully understand the extent of what they were doing/ saying. Including, sending inappropriate things to "only one person", sending "jokes" that spread around and hurt several people, etc.
