User rights that are a part of the norms in the digital world are the right to privacy and free speech, however, citizens must protect the privacy of others and follow the law while exercising these rights.
User responsibilities must be taught and understood in order for citizens to express themselves in the digital world. Without educating our students and society, many are confused as the what they are allowed to express and use certain platforms to shame and oust others. We need to teach everyone about the safe use of expression in the digital world.
