What user rights do you feel should be part of the norms in this digital world?
I think that any private, personal, or sensitive information (banking info, passwords, etc...) should be private. We should be able to trust that our information is protected. Yet we all accept that we assume some inherent risk when we are online. I also feel that we all have a right to access the wealth of information that is out there.
What user responsibilities do you feel should be expressed in this digital world/
First and foremost, I feel that we have the same responsibilities online that we would have in any "free speech" situation. Freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequence. We have the responsibility to communicate in an honest manner without threatening others or providing false or misleading information. We also have the responsibility to protect our information. That may mean changing/protecting our passwords or not giving others access to our accounts.
