Everyone should have the right to be able to access the digital world. As with our freedom of speech right, this is an extension of that in another dimension.
However, it is also a great responsibility as well. It is too easily abused to hide behind the computer and send hateful messages. It's one of those things that I believe that freedom of speech across all mediums is not without its consequences. Just because you can, doesn't mean it's appropriate to do so.
It's our responsibility to behave with respect online and teach our children and students to do the same thing.
