I agree that with what many posters have expressed previously that all students should be able to feel safe to interact on the Internet. However, as we all know this is not always true. So, our job as educators is to teach students what this means and how to do it properly and effectively. One rule of thumb I think could be offered to students for guidance is, "If you wouldn't want to your mother, father, sister, clergy, etc. to see it, don't post it."
