Norms and Responsibilities

The knowledge of what is appropriate, safe and responsible when we access the digital world is important. New uses of technology seem to be introduced daily. As teachers we need to inform our students of the rights and responsibilities of using this technology and they need to be aware of the consequences of using it inappropriately.

We need to set examples to our students about the correct use of technology.

I agree. I think that teaching the consequences of inappropriate digital use is very important.  I think many kids are not aware of many consequences for using digital tools and forums inappropriately.  If they were more aware of these, I think they would be more careful with their use.
