Norms and Responsibilities

I feel that along with digital rights and responsibilities, we should be teaching students the importance of ethical behavior. An individual's right to free speech comes with legal and ethical limitations. Many people post on social media without thinking about how their words may affect another person. As we teach digital citizenship, I think it's important we emphasize that what our students do online is setting an example for others. Appropriate, responsible, ethical use of digital tools sets the best example.
