All people should have the right to be safe in the digital world. In order to do so, students should be taught about how much information they are granting to others through signing up for things. Examples should be given as to people who made good choices online and those that did not.
All people should have the right to access educational material online. Our responsibility is then how we use this information - making sure that we are not stealing it from anyone, deciding if it should be shared with others and if it is even reliable.
All people should have the right to communicate with others. Our responsibility is representing ourselves in an honest way, one that does not harm others by our words and understanding that others do not always represent themselves as they truly are.
If these rights are not being used responsibly, they should be taken away.
