Children and students need to be taught to be polite and courteous when communicating in and out of school. They aren't always aware of how people can take things that they read differently than how they are intended. We need to teach them how to communicate when using email, text messages, digital images and videos and social media. A picture is worth a thousand words. So many kids are being "bullied" due to pictures others are posting on social media. We need to help kids to understand that what they post on social media or email or anything digital can have negative consequences if they are not careful.
