This is very important as we continue to become more digitized. Our students are always online. Many of of our students use technology appropriately, but there are a good number of students who do not.
Students (and others) have the right to feel safe while online interacting with others. They also have the responsibility to treat each other people respectfully while online.
Digital citizenship is an area that we need to focus on at an earlier age in order for students to enter the digital world safely and responsibly.
