Norms and Responsibilities

It is important to teach students skills for not only accessing information through digital tools but the idea that not everything on the internet is both accurate and acceptable for them to view. We need to give students, from a young age, the tools for handling situations that can occur. As teachers we need to continually revisit both their rights and responsibilities online but ways that they can keep themselves safe in that environment.

I think that reviewing the norms and responsibilities on a quarterly basis would keep these ideas always on ones mind.  This would not only help me but help the students that I substitute teach also.
