With the norms and responsibilities for digital citizenship I agree with the motto of "just like driving a car, technology use is a privilege not a right." There are so many students who I feel do not realize that it is a privilege to have technology. Just like driving a car, we have to take drivers education class first. The same idea applies to being a digital citizen. If your school is a 1:1 school, then those students need to be responsible for their actions with those computers. Educate people about cyberbullying. Anything that you say online about someone will affect you in the real world. Anything that you put online it can be traced back to you. Yes there is a freedom of speech, but cyberbullying should not be tolerated. Other things that would need to be part of the norms and responsibilities would be to educate students on anything that is bad online.
