Norms and Responsibilities

As a teacher of Kindergarten students I feel a responsibility to teach and model for students proper use of technology.  I feel students should be taught how to use technology to receive and deliver information.  A good rule of thumb might be "if you wouldn't say it to the person in a face to face conversation, then it is not something you should say using technology".  Students need to know that there is information and people that use technology for inappropriate reasons and that can be very harmful to everyone involved.  Once again modeling and talking about responsibilities involved with digital use.
