Norms and Responsibility

Digital citizenship is the responsibility of all of those involved.  We have to teach our students responsibility of how to effectively use internet sites in a safe, appropriate, acceptable and responsible manner.  Action and consequences is how and what I teach.  I use it in terms outside the digital world (real world) and then incorporate it in the digital world - what if's. Today's society is so dependent on the digital world and there is little thought of security.  There are so many breaches to security that one slip by looking at a site and how it can impact all of those involved.  I also teach reread what you write and how if the words you just wrote how they impact what is being said.  If you received the email that you just typed how would you interpret the contents.  What is the information being typed?
